Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq???s (T.I) environmental commitment and green initiatives have earned a remarkable position of Government College Women University Faisalabad in UI Green Metric World Universities Ranking 2022. GCWUF is declared 1st among all Women universities in Pakistan and 2nd women university worldwide in UI Green Metric World University Rankings 2022. Last Year, GCWUF stood at 33rd position in Pakistan and 3rd among all women universities in the country. Overall position of GCWUF in the world was 708. By the grace of Allah Almighty, this year the university has made a tremendous improvement in ranking. We are ranked 22nd among all Pakistani universities, 1st among all women universities in Pakistan, worldwide 2nd among all women universities, and have scored overall 568th position. This improvement in ranking is an indicator of persistent growth and sustainability in the pace of the university towards excellence. The vision of the Vice Chancellor to establish GCWUF as green campus and providing pollution-free clean environment to staff and students is duly acknowledged by the ranking agency.
